What is Health Coaching?
Health Coaching is a new and evolving profession designed to meet the needs of people actively seeking to improve their well-being in the midst of complex and often confusing healthcare options. It’s practiced from a holistic perspective that sees each person as intrinsically healthy, whole, wise, and as the ultimate expert in his or her healing journey. People who are dealing with complex issues can benefit from a Health Coach’s guidance in developing a personalized plan of care.
My mission as a health coach is to create a safe and caring space for you to go within to reach deeper levels of inner awareness and strength that allow you to overcome barriers so you can live a life of purpose and fulfillment.
During a health coaching session, I listen to your story and develop a non-judgmental, compassionate relationship with you. Together, we’ll create a plan to help you achieve your goals and reach deeper levels of inner awareness. We may use tools such as Healing Touch, guided imagery, and relaxation techniques to help you with self-care, reflection, balance and growth.
I will help you to:
Design a personalized healthcare plan that addresses physical, emotional, mental and spiritual issues
Recognize and shift behaviors that block success or your readiness to change
Discern amongst a range of complementary and alternative practitioners and products
